Re: Individual approach in home care
Sometimes I feel really upset that I got unlucky and have type 1 diabetes. Sometimes I think it’s just awful unfairness. Then I remember there are people, and a lot of them, whose condition is so bad they need a caregiver. In that case, I can say I live a full life with only minor exceptions. Before traveling somewhere, a normal person googles what to take with them, but I remember all the travel tips for people with T1D on how to prepare so it’s as safe as possible for me. Maybe if someone is desperate after being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and sees my message, it’ll help them feel a bit better. Like it’s not a death sentence, and you can live a full life.
